Title Deed

Faith

Hebrews 11:1 (AMP) NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

Galatians 2:20-21 (AMP) I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me. 21 [Therefore, I do not treat God’s gracious gift as something of minor importance and defeat its very purpose]; I do not set aside and invalidate and frustrate and nullify the grace (unmerited favor) of God. For if justification (righteousness, acquittal from guilt) comes through [observing the ritual of] the Law, then Christ (the Messiah) died groundlessly and to no purpose and in vain. [His death was then wholly superfluous.]

If you have been born again, you need to remind yourself the old carnal person you once were is now dead, gone forever; and now you are a brand new person in Christ.  You don’t have to struggle with that “old man” any more.  Just remind yourself the old man is dead and your now true identity is this new person you are in Christ and just rest in that Truth in Christ Jesus. To help you with the process I have written my own obituary of the “old man” being dead and now I encourage you to write your own and post it so you can remind yourself daily of the “new you” and of your whole new victorious life in Christ Jesus.  Hallelujah!

Overcoming Intimidation Confession

Standing fast in freedom (revisited)

Standing Fast in Freedom

My identical twin sister, Jeanne, has dealt with shyness; but she has received revelational truth from the Word of God that she is free of shyness and intimidation of people and it has caused her to appreciate who God has created her to be and caused her to desire to function in the giftings God has placed in her.  She is always encouraging others who deal with shyness and those who do not like themselves.  What a blessing she is to others and the Body of Christ.

I pray this really ministers to many of you who deal with shyness and intimidation so you too can experience the same freedom Christ has purchased for you at the cross.

Overcoming Intimidation Confession

My God does not give me the spirit of fear of people; but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

He said he would never leave me nor forsake me; so that I can boldly say, The Lord is my Helper, and I will not fear people!  (Hebrews 13:5,6)  I will not fear!  I will not fear people!  I will not be intimated by anyone!  It does not matter what people think of me being shy; although I’m planning to come out of shyness.

Jesus has taken my shyness when he carried my shyness and everything else I would deal with on this earth on his cross and he defeated the spirit of fear.  So I’m not subject to fear or intimidation of people.  I will not let them put me aside by not acknowledging what I want to say.  I will speak when I want to and if I don’t have anything to say, that’s alright!

I love myself and I appreciate myself and it doesn’t matter what people think of me.  I’m getting freer as I accept myself and appreciate myself.  I am a wonderful, beautiful person inside and out.

I’m able to express myself the way I really think without someone trying to intimidate me.  It doesn’t matter what they think of how I express myself; which is in a lovely, wholesome way.

I believe to be total set free and people are going to notice me and are going to want to hang around me.  They are going to be drawn to me and appreciate what I say!  I’m accepted!  I’m accepted!  I can really be myself!

My Never Again List

Steady as a rock

I want to share with you this “My Never Again List”.  I think you will find these to be very powerful confessions to strengthen and encourage you every day.  After all, we know the Word of God is a powerful source available to us for our every day living on this earth where often times opportunities arise to make us want to speak the problems and the impossibilities rather than the possibilities the Word can and will bring forth in our lives.  So I pray you are strengthened and encouraged in your inner man as you speak these powerful truths.  I encourage you to copy them and post them where you can see them and speak them often. Please share them with others.

MY NEVER AGAIN LIST

Never again will I confess, “I can’t,” for “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)

Never again will I confess, “I have lack,” for “My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)

Never again will I confess, “I am afraid,” for “God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

Never again will I confess, “I have doubt and I lack faith,” for “God has given to me the measure of faith.”  Romans 12:3)

Never again will I confess, “I am weak,” for “The Lord is the strength of my life (Psalms 27:1) and because I know my God I shall prove myself strong and shall stand firm and do eploits for my God.” (Daniel 11:32)

Never again will I confess the power of my enemy satan and demons over my life for, “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4)

Never again will I confess defeat for, “God always causes me to triumph in Christ.” (2 Corinthians 2:14)

Never again will I confess lack of wisdom for, “Christ Jesus is made unto me wisdom from God.” (1 Corinthians 1:30)

Never again will I confess sickness for, “By Jesus’ stripes I am healed and made whole (Isaiah 53:5) and He Himself took, in order to carry away, my weaknesses and infirmities and bore away my diseases. (Matthew 8:17)

Never again will I confess worries, cares, concerns, and frustrations for, “I cast the whole of my care, all my anxities, all my worries, all my concerns, once and for all on Him, for He cares for me affectionately and cares about me watchfully.” (1 Peter 5:7)

Never again will I confess any kind of bondage for, “Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” (2 Corinthians 3:17)

Never again will I confess condemnation for, “There is therefore no condemnation to me who is in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)

Encouraging Words In Discouraging Times

God is with you wherever you go

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for he Lord your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9)

Here are some encouraging words to speak to yourself when you are facing discouraging times:

I am developed in godly courage and this power is available to me in discouraging times.  Because I have courage I have the ability to see victory, to see good things happen to me when things look bad or things look like they will never change.

Through godly courage I have the ability to conquer fear or despair, be brave and have a mindset that enables me to stand fast in the face of every opposition, hardship or danger.

I trust God because I have settled in my heart; when I face extremities I know it is God’s opportunity to step in as I continue to believe He is at work.

I live by faith in God and His Word and expect things to turn out just like God promised me.  I realize if God has promised me something it is not going to be automatic for I have an enemy and this is a faith fight.  These things belong to me therefore I have courage to stay in faith to possess my inheritance.  I will not be a coward and cop out but will rather operate in God’s courage.  I will trust God till I see the victory.  I will finish this fight of faith even though through the process I might not understand everything; for God has assured me it is mine.  With faith, patience and expectation I walk this out to receive my promise.

I know for sure there is no failure in God, there is no defeat in God, and there is no deficiency in God and so I have courage in discouraging times.

I enter into the rest He promised me by revelation of Him, revelation of His burden removing, yoke destroying power, revelation of the Holy Spirit, revelation of the Word and also the revelation of His yoke being easy and His burdens light.  I now have the courage to act like I don’t have a problem because I have the revelation that I can now rest since God is in control of every situation I give to Him that is beyond me.

I know for sure that God is never at the end of His wits end and knows no extremities and no finalities because nothing is final with my God.  And really nothing is final with me!  As a child of God I am promised to win and I believe I am a winner right now!

Along with godly courage God’s presence will be with me all the way through.  So I am strong and of good courage and will not fear, be dismayed, shaken nor lose courage.  I am not shaken if things look like they are not working or if something doesn’t happen tomorrow for I know it has to happen.  That’s why I study God’s Word to find out what He has promised me;for then I find courage for each situation and my mind, will and emotions stay in courage and the Holy Spirit is able to remind me of scriptures for each opportunity to be discouraged.   Jesus has told me that in the world there are opportunities for tribulation, trials, distress and frustration but I am of good courage, confident, certain of what I believe and undaunted by it all; for Jesus has overcome the world I face every day and has deprived it of its power to harm me and has conquered it for me.  I am born of God so I am victorious over this world and this is guaranteed by my faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work for me.  I no longer think I am unable to get out of a situation, because I have courage and I understand the Spirit of God is at hand ready to assist me in whatever I need to do and  He is going to bring me through to victory.

There is a due season made for me and awaiting me.  The Bible promises me that weeping will only endure for a season for joy cometh in the morning because I have courage and trust my Lord.

I have an article I have written posted on my website, www.godswordalive.com, entitled “How To Be Encouraged In Discouraging Times” to further encourage you.

The Just Shall Live By Faith

I put my trust in You

Your ability to live by faith has nothing to do with:

·  Who you are, where you were born, or where you live.

·    The amount of money you presently have in your bank account, billfold or purse or don’t presently have in your bank account, billfold or purse.

·    Amount of time you have or don’t have. (Faith has no time, it is always “now” Faith. Faith is always present tense. – I have _____ now. I can do _____ now. I am _____ now.)

·    How much something costs.

·    Has nothing to do with your ability or inability. (Remember: Faith is God’s ability working on your behalf. If you could do it yourself, you wouldn’t have to use your faith.)

·    If you have planned well financially or if there has been lack of financial planning.

·    Job or no job.

·    Paycheck or no paycheck or income or no income.

·    The number of educational degrees you have or a lack of education. (The fishermen who walked with Jesus were men of faith and yet they were just “fishermen” and not highly educated men; but yet they told Jesus when He sent them out to minister on their own that their every need was met.)

·    Your five physical senses (They only relate to the physical realm and will only tell you what is going on in the physical realm, but faith is of the spirit, a higher realm. You’re actually living in a higher realm, not subject to the natural realm when you live by faith.)

·    Natural limitations. (Faith is supernatural ability and there are no limitations with faith. If there were limitations then we could say God is limited, but that will never be.)

·    A person’s intelligence or lack of it. (Actually intelligence can get in the way of faith by trying to figure out how it is going to happen. Faith is working when your heart and not your head is fixed, established, trusting in the Lord.)

·    Your ability in any matter. (Faith is God’s ability working on your behalf.) What is faith?    ·    Faith is substance of things hoped for needed and desired, evidence of what cannot be seen by your physical eyes, your assurance, your confirmation, your title deed of things, proof of things not seen, conviction of their reality, perception as real fact what is not revealed to senses, leaning of your entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom and goodness.

Hebrews 11:1  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. KJV

Hebrews 11:1  NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. AMP

Hebrews 6:12  In order that you may not grow disinterested and become [spiritual] sluggards, but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith ( by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises. AMP    ·    Faith is always now, present tense. (You talk like it has already done.)

·    Faith is a law, spiritual law.

Romans 3:27  Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. KJV    ·         Faith and patience are power twins.

Hebrews 6:12 ….faith ( by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises. AMP

James 1:4  But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. KJV

Let’s make this confession of faith:    God has given me the gift of faith. I actually have the faith of Jesus. Faith is the substance of things I hope for, need and desire. It is the evidence of what I cannot see by my physical eyes. Faith is my assurance it is mine. Faith is the only confirmation I need to know that it is mine. Faith is the title deed to the possession of it. Faith is proof to me this is all done and taken care of. Faith is the conviction of the reality of this thing. With faith I perceive it is real fact in my life no matter what the senses tell me. With my faith I lean my entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in Father God, Daddy’s power, wisdom and His goodness to me. I live by faith and not by sight.

The Deer’s Cry - or Patrick’s Prayer

 As the deer longs...

It is said this is the prayer that St. Patrick prayed every day.  Read it and pray it if you feel led.  It’s awesome.

In Union with Christ Jesus, there is no ‘us’!

The Truth

I just had to share with you these “8 New Creations Realities” written by my Pastor, Dr. Christopher Longgrear, www.freshfireministries.org.  He and his wife, Sandy, pastor Fresh Fire Ministries Church in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. New King James

Therefore if any person is [in-grafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! AMPLIFIED BIBLE

What this means is that those who become Christians become new persons.  They’ re not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!    New Living Translation

When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same anymore. A new life has begun!                       The Living Bible

#1- In Union with Christ Jesus, there is no ‘us’!
We’ve been absorbed into the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit when we received the gift of eternal life!

#2- In Him, we’ve been crucified, we died, were buried, arose with Him as His spiritual seed!
Romans 6/6 & Galatians 2/20 tell us that we were crucified with Him, & now live in Him, through the economy of God in manifesting salvation! Jesus became all that we were in our sinful & fallen state, in His death, so that we could become all that He is in resurrection, when we’re Born-again!

#3- He lives in us via the Holy Spirit!
To receive eternal life literally required the Holy Spirit to place His life into us, which is the divine life of the Holy Trinity! That means that every Christian has been born of God, literally, vitally, & actually! God is in you, now & forever!

#4- We have resurrection life in us!
In the New-birth, you have the same life abiding in you that raised Jesus from the dead! Hallelujah, you are now free from spiritual death completely, & physical death can only be temporary, should you die before Jesus returns from Heaven!

#5- We are human vessels of heavenly power & glory!
2 Corinthians 4/7 tells us that we have heavenly treasure in these flesh & blood temples, so that the excellency of the power of God has a home to dwell in & from which to flow! God in us is dedicated to flow through us, surge over us, & radiate from us, into the lives & hearts of people in the world at-large!

#6-We are already & forever eternally alive!

All that He is, we are also!    Colossians 2/9 & 10 tells us that we are complete in Him, & He is complete in the Father & Spirit! In completeness in Jesus, we have eternal life, resurrection life, divine life, and everlasting life! As He is, so are we, now & forever!

#7- In Christ Jesus, we live, move, & have our being!
We’re alive in Him, we thrive, flourish, & flow in Him, & He is the vital & literal source of our eternal being! We can’t lose His life, because it’s divine, eternal, & resurrection life, which has overpowered death & has destroyed the power of sin!

#8- We are eternally born of God & united with Him!
1 Peter 1/23 tells us that we’re Born-again of incorruptible seed, the seed of God, of the Word of God, which lives forever! That means we’re in Him spiritually, & He’s in us spiritually, & personally! We are now the children of God, through faith in Jesus, through the agency of the Holy Spirit! That goes beyond adoption, that produces transformation, for though we once were not the children of God, now we are & always will be!

Is It Cancer or Is It Christ in You?

 The Anointing breaks every yoke

IS IT CANCER OR IS IT CHRIST IN YOU?

They call “cancer” the big “C” word.  Is it really?  I beg to differ as a Christian and I hope this will give hope to you who have been given no hope because of the word “cancer” being spoken over you.  “Christ” should be the big “C” word in your life and there is nothing to fear when you use it because it brings power, love and a sound mind.  What does it mean?  It means, “The Anointed One” and refers to His anointing.  Jesus is the Christ, “The Anointed One”.  And His anointing is burden removing, yoke destroying power.  There is no type of cancer that can stand up to the anointing.  This revelation will rid you of all fear of cancer.

Here are some truths you need to meditate and receive as truths about you “in Christ” concerning cancer and all diseases (I have scriptures on my website, www.godswordalive.com, that will help you see yourself “in Christ”.):

Cancer is a disease

Christ is the Anointed One who destroys all disease in your life, including cancer

Cancer is not the big “C” word.

Christ has been given a name above all names, the name of “Jesus”, which includes cancer.  The name of Jesus has been given to you to speak and see cancer leave your body.

Cancer is evil. Christ is God sent to be your Savior from cancer
Cancer is life-threatening. Christ has brought you abundant life to the full till it over flows.
Cancer comes to kill, steal & destroy. Christ came to destroy the works of the devil which includes all diseases and that means all evil works of cancer in your body now!

Cancer is a fact

Christ is the way (Your way out of cancer.), the TRUTH (The truth is He has redeemed you from cancer.), and the LIFE (How can cancer live in your body where Christ, Life Himself, lives?)

Cancer can be diagnosed. “In Christ” is really who God and His Word says you are and what you have in this life.  (See “In Him” scriptures on my website, www.godswordalive, so you can declare who are  “in Christ” and what Christ has made you to have.)
Cancer checkups are what they recommend.

In Christ, you are told to look continually into the perfect law of liberty, the Word of God, and make a checkup daily of the blessings of Christ on your body and not do checkups for the curse from which Christ has purchased your freedom.  (James 1:22-25)

Years ago I was doing a check on my body for lumps as recommended and the Holy Ghost asked me, “What are you checking for?  Are you checking for the curse?”  He continued to say, “You shouldn’t be looking for the curse on your body but for the blessing, the blessing Jesus purchased for you.”

I have found so many times that woman especially, if the enemy can get a breast or even both with cancer, he will get the female organs and  He will move on and on to other body parts.  If he can place fear of cancer in our minds that is where the seed is planted and then manifested in the body if you don’t meditate and speak the Word of God. That is why we need to fill our minds daily with whom and what Christ has made us to be and what He has purchased for us.

I have listed on my site, www.godswordalive.com scriptures and confessions to keep your covenant right of divine health and also to restore to you what Jesus purchased for you.  I agree with you for your deliverance from cancer and also that you continue to live in divine health.  I also offer a book of Doddie Osteen’s on “Healed of Cancer” to encourage you.  God bless you.

Have You Opened the Best Gift Yet?

It's Your Move

There are a lot of gifts we receive from time to time.  Some of the gifts we may have received could have been for our birthday, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and wedding or anniversary.  Some of the gifts we asked for.  Some gifts we really liked.  Some gifts we wished we had never received and wondered what that person was thinking.  Some gifts were big and some were small.  Some were expensive and some cheap.  Some were given in love and others were given in appreciation, to say, “Thank you.”  Whatever the gift we opened it and either received it with joy, never liked it, never used it, and maybe even threw it away or gave it away to someone else because it just wasn’t something we wanted or needed.

I want to tell you about the best, free gift that has ever been offered to anyone who will receive it and open it up for their very own.  It is the most expensive gift in all the world. This gift is given to anyone who will receive and it is given with love.  This gift can be used every day and will last eternally because you didn’t have anything to do with paying for it nor do you have anything to do with maintaining it.  Who paid for it?  God.  What was the gift?  The righteousness of God and eternal life.

Romans 5:15-19 But God’s free gift is not at all to be compared to the trespass [His grace is out of all proportion to the fall of man]. For if many died through one man’s falling away (his lapse, his offense), much more profusely did God’s grace and the free gift [that comes] through the undeserved favor of the one Man Jesus Christ abound and overflow to and for [the benefit of] many. 16 Nor is the free gift at all to be compared to the effect of that one [man’s] sin. For the sentence [following the trespass] of one [man] brought condemnation, whereas the free gift [following] many transgressions brings justification ( an act of righteousness). 17 For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). 18 Well then, as one man’s trespass [one man’s false step and falling away led] to condemnation for all men, so one Man’s act of righteousness [leads] to acquittal and right standing with God and life for all men. 19 For just as by one man’s disobedience (failing to hear, heedlessness, and carelessness) the many were constituted sinners, so by one Man’s obedience the many will be constituted righteous (made acceptable to God, brought into right standing with Him). AMP

Please open this best, most expensive gift ever offered to you today by praying this prayer:

Father God, I see I was made a sinner by the first man, Adam.  But I also see from these scriptures that by Jesus Christ I was made the righteousness of God.  I now open this gift to make it my own.  Come into my heart Lord Jesus Christ.  Be my Savior and Lord today.  I repent, turning from a life of sin for now, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.”

If you prayed that prayer please let me know by writting to me:  godsw4@godswordalive.com.  Please get a Bible and find out about your new life in Christ Jesus.  Start reading from the Book of Acts through Revelations which will reveal to you who you are now in Christ Jesus.
